4. SUMMARYSTATEMENT AND REQUIREMENT FOR COUNCIL ACTION:
Attached is a revision of the Mutual Aid Agreement between the Cry of Bremerton and Navy Regbn Northwest,
sometimes referred to as Puget Sound Federal Fire Department. The agreement was bst reviewed and amended
in 1998. This agreement now adds the other f're jurisdictions through the county to the agreement.
That the Bremerton City Council authorize the Mayor to sign and enter hto the Mutual Aid Agreement with
Navy Region, Bremerton.

Without passage, the City of Bremerton will not receive the additional fire suppression and technical assistance
in a timely manner than currently supplied.
6. IMPACT ON STAFFING. BUDGETS. FACILITIES. EQUIPMENT OR OTHER RESOURCES:
Passage of this agreement wil allow the additional resources to keep respondhg to the citizens of Bremerton in
timely manner.
