4. SUMMARY STATEMENT AND REQUIREMENT FOR COUNCIL ACTION:
On November 7, 2001, Public Work~ removed appliauc~ garbage and debris from the property
and re-boarded the house lo,ted at 2133 - I1~' Street, pumnaut to au Order to Remove Refuse within '/2
ltoum and a Notice and Order to Abate Un~fe Couditiou. The legal reqairemcat~ for notice were met.
The co,ts incarred for this actiou, iuclading admiuistr~tive fe~, totaled $995.76. Coancil must now
decide if the fe~ are jast and reasonable, and how they shoald be collected.
RECOMMENDATION:
I move that Council, by Resolution # o~ ~ 5I ~ , order that thc fees in the amount of $995.76
incarred for the abatement of garbage and debris and reseeuring the building located at 2133 - 11th
Street be collected as reasonable abatement costs and become a lien against the property.
