4. SUMMARY STATEMENT AND REQUIREMENT FOR COUNCIL ACTION:
This is an one year extension of an agreement between the City of Bremerton and Systems Design to provide
an ambulance billing service. The original agreement in 1999 allows for one year extensions when mutually
agreed upon. The terms of the agreement will remain the same.
8. RECOMI~IENDATION:
That the City Council authorize the Mayor to sign and enter into the one year contract extension with
Systems Design.

5. IMPACT QN NON-PASSAGE:
The billing of ambulance transport would not be in place until the City of Bremerton could go through the
bid process.
6. IMPACT ON STAFFING~ BUDGETS~ FACILITIES~ EQUIPMENT OR OTHER RESOURCES:
There would not be any impact on the staffing levels, but there is an increase use of vehicles and equipment
along with an increase in supplies needed. The contract costs will remain the same.
