4. SUMMARY STATEMENT AND REQUIREMENT FOR COUNCIL ACTION:
With this Agreement the City of Bremerton will join the other three cities and Kitsap County in a
common police records management system. We have exceeded capacity of our current system.
Our buy-in costs will be based on the number of seats we purchase, therefore the acquisition and
implementation costs wil~ be less than if we were negotiating separately. We will be sharing a
larger and more meaningful database countywide. Hardware and software maintenance and
administration costs will be shared proportionally by the agencies participating. This item was.
part of the computer acquisitions approved bythe council on June 27, 2001. ~
MOVE TO APPROVE CONTRACT WITH KITSAP COUNTY FOR POLICE RECORDS MANAGEMENT
