4. SUMMARY STATEMENT AND REQUIREMENT FOR COUN~ION:
Bids were received for Janitorial Services on August 10, 2001. Four (4) bids were received for these services.
the low bidder was Golden Globe Janitorial Service fi'om $ilverdale, WA. The Depm'tment of Public Works
Utilities, Facilities Division requests Council ~proval of the bid award and contract award to Golden Globe in the
amount shown in ex,'bit ( 1 ). This approval is for a two-year period co~u~cing September 20, 2001 thru September
19, 2003.
8. RECOMMENDATION:
~ approve the janitorial services award to Golden Globe Janitorial Service in the amount of
$8,923.87 per month for a period of two years and authorize the Mayor to execute such award subject to current City
