4. SUMMARY STATEMENT AND REOUIREMENT FOR COUNCIL ACTION:
Conrad Esser submitted a letter of resignation as Council Member for District 8 effective July 20, 2001. The
position for District 8 Council member was then advertised, with 3 qualified applications received. Interviews
will be held during the Council meeting of August 1, 2001. City Council Members will then agree on
nominations and make a selection.
5. RECOMMENDATION:
Move to appoint as the new District 8 Council Member.
