4. SUMMARY STATEMENT AND REQUIREMENT FOR COUNCIL ACTIQ~I:
The Countywide planning policies have been under review for more than one year as required by the Growth
Management Act. A committee of staff members fi.om all county jurisdictions made recommendations for
revisions which were then reviewed by a committee of Council members and Planning Commissioners fi.om all
jurisdictions. The Kitsap Regional Coordinating Council Policy Board has recommended adoption of these
policies.
5. RECOMMENDATION:
Move to pass Resolution No. 26 ~c~., Ratifying the Kitsap Countywide Planning Policies.
