On May 7, 2001, Public Works seeu~l the building located at 1320 N. Callow Avenue after the
owner, Scott Wilcox, failed to do so as ordered. Water service had been disconnected to the building by
Bremerton Municipal Utilities, and the house was occupied by vagrants. The cost of this action,
inehsding administrative fees, totaled $1,466.67. Council must now decide if the fees are just and
reasonable and how they should be eolleeted.
RECOMMENDATION:
I move that Council, by Resolution # -~ I~ ,2.~., order that the fees incurred for securing the
building located at 1320 N. Callow Avenue be collected as reasonable abatement costs and become a lien
against the property.
