On Februury 14, 2001, un Order to Remove Refuse withiu 72 Hours wns posted on the property
located at 1745 N. Cambriuu Avenue, allowing the owner, Michael McDnffy, 72 hours to remove
furniture, cardboard, garbage and debris from the property. Mr. MeDuffy received the certified mail
copy of the order on February 15, 2001. On Murch 5, 2001, the garbage was removed from the property
by Public Works ut a cost of $902.28, which includes the ndministrative fee of $618.00. Council must now
decide if the costs are just and reasonable hud how they should be collected.
RECOMMENDATION:
I move that Council, by Resolution # ~-~ I (~ , order that the fees incurred for the abatement of
cardbourd, furniture, garbage und debris located at 1745 N. Cambrian Avenue be collected as reasonable
abatement costs and become a lien against the property.
