4. SUMMARY STATEMENT AND REOUIREMENT FOR COUNCIL ACTION:
On April 4, 2001, David Fart submitted his resignation as Council Member for District 6 due to a recent move
outside his district. The position for District 6 Council member was then advertised, with 6 qualified
applications received. Interviews were held on April 18, 2001 and April 25, 2001. City Council Members will
then agree on nominations and make a selection.
5. RECOMMENDATION:
Move to appoint as the new District 6 Council Member.
