SUMMARY STATEMENT AND REQUIREMENT FOR COUNCIL ACTION: An Interlocal Agreement was entered into on June 16, 1997, between the City of Bremerton and Kitsap County regarding the design and right-of-way acquisition for the SR 304 Transportation Improvement Project. Kitsap County has committed to provide $500,000 as their share for the SR 304 Project. Kitsap County has expended $156,000 to date for their share of those costs. Since expenditure of funds on specific grants has not occurred as anticipated in the Interlocal Agreement and since the design, right-of-way and construction activities will soon occur on properties and fight-of-way within the jurisdiction of the County it is necessary to amend the Interlocal agreement to reflect current responsibilities. 8.
