4. SUMMARY STATEMENT AND RECIUIREMENT FOR COUNCIL ACTION:
Attached is a contract proposal to purchase a 2001 ambulance from Braun Northwest, Inc. There currently
are three Braun ambulances in the fleet, this one will replace the 1988 that was surplused earlier in the year.
The City of Bremerton has in effect an Intergovernmental Cooperative Purchasing Agreement signed in 1994
that has allowed us to purchase off the Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue bid.
8. RECOMMENDATION:

Braun Northwest, Inc for the purchase of a 2001 ambulance.

5. IMPACT ON NON-PASSAGE:
There would be a delay in the process of proc, ring a replacement Paramedic Ambulance. The 1988 ambulance
that this vehicle fs replacing was surplused earlier in 2000 and leaves the Department with one reserve vehicle.

The revenue for the purchase of this vehicle is in the 2001 budget.
