Ed Faulk, Greens Superintendent, bas previewed this particular piece of equipmeut as well as Toro and John Deere models, and fotmd it superior in meeting the needs of the golf complex. This purchase will bring the complex's fleet total to tbree (3) Jacobsons and two (2) Toro fairway mowers. Our goal is to eventually standardize the fleet with Jacobson fairway mowers. Our experience has found these to be the most reliable manufacturer. The cost of the equipment is $37,384.60 (includes a discount and sales tax) and is solely funded by the Golf Course Fund 407. Since this is a 2002 piece of equipment, there is a substantial discount. This capilal purchase is included in the 2003 Budget. 8.
