This will involve using the existing poles and re-configuring the conductors by adding crossarms (9 feet in length) and placing three conductors on the crossarms. The additional width of the facilities will add to the clearance required from the pole line. Therefore, Puget Power is asking the property owners to grant easements to meet these needs. The City of Bremerton has 3,960 feet of frontage on this corridor, as identified on the survey map enclosed. The enclosed document has been prepared for your review. It will cover the overhang of the wire on the outside of the crossarm and the right to cut and remove vegetation. On September 15, 1993, Tom Brobst and I met with Bill McKinney of your staff to review the route and the impact to vegetation. In this meeting is was agreed that Puget Power would mark and inventory the trees, which in our judgment would need to be removed. (The inventory has not been completed and will be forwarded under separate cover.) In turn, the City could then determine how the removal would be accomplished. Once you have received the list and have an opportunity to review it, we can schedule a meeting to discuss the details and any City requirements. Please review this information, if the easement and the vegetation removal meet with approval with the city, please have the easement executed and returned in the envelope provided. Upon receipt of the executed document, a check request in the amount of $700.00 will be prepared as consideration for the easement. Puget Sound Power & Light Company 1300 Sylvan Way RO.
