THIS INDENTURE made this 24th. day of September,19£8 between
Homer R. Jones,as County Treasurer of Kitsap County, 3tate of
~ashington, the party of the first part and the city of Bremerton,
a Municipal Corporation of the State of ~Tashing~o~, party of the
second part, ,~ITNESSETH THAT,
~HEREAS, the following described real property, while subject
to local improvement assessments levied by the City of Bremertou,
and due at said time to the City of Bremerton, has been struck off
to and bid in by the County of Kitsap at a sale for general taxes and
~'~q~E~AS, the City of Bremerton has paid to the County of ~itsap
the full amount of the face of such taxes and costs without interest
and penalty, in the sma of Two hundred thirty-seven and, 46/100- - -
dollars, (~Z~.46) and has demanded the redemption of said property
from all claims of the County of Xitsap.
N0~,THEREPORE, in consideration of the premises and in pur-
suance to the provisions of Chapter 170 of the Session Laws of the
extraordinary session of the Legislature of the State of .?ashington
in 19£5, do hereby grant and convey unto the City of Bremerton, a
municipal Corporation of the State of Jashington, the Party of the
second part, its successors or assigns, forever, the following
described real estate to wit:
Beginning at a point 1094.V ft East and 97.7 ft, North
of S.~. Cor. of Lot l, Sec. l~, ~wp. 24 ~i.k. i ~ast of LV.E.
thence North 78 ft.; thence East Vl.5 fi; thence South 78 ft.
and thence ~est 72 ft. more or less to point of beginning.
