For good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which
is hereby acknowledged, the Unite? States of America, acting by
and throu,~h the Public .~ousing Administration, hereinafter called
the "Government", does hereby dedicate unto the City of Bremer-
ton, Washington, for v~ublic use, the following parcel of land
situate in Kitsap County, Washington and bounded as follows,
From the Southeast corner of the I,~Q~ o~ the ~fQ of Sec-
tion 12, T24E, ~lE, V~-. }~.; thence ~2°03.18'' E along the
North and South quarter line of Section 12, 498.56 feet;
thence N87O58'42" Yf, 80,00 feet to the true point of
beginning, thence S2OOl'31'' W, 48.86 feet; thence N89o
03'28" W. 220.00 feet; thence ~1o87'~1" w
~. 48.56 feet;
thence N2o05'18" E. 300.00 feet; thence S87°55'42" Eo
220.00 feet; thence S~oO3'18" W. 300.00 Feet to the true
point of beginning, containing 1.TS acres, more or less,
said property hereof and said land being designated on
said plat as ~,/unicipal Area ~o. 8, situate in Eitsap
County, Yfashington.
Subject, however, to all existing easements and riflers of way,
and to the reservation set forth in the provisions of Executive
Order )~o. 9908 of December 5, 1947 (12 F. ]~. 8223) as follows:
All uranium, thoriu~ and all other materials determined
pursuant to section ~ (b) (1) of the Atomic Energy Act
of 1946 (80 Stat. 781)to be peculiarly essential to the
production of fissionable ~terial, contained, in ~vhat-
ever concentration, in deposits in the lands covered
by this instrument are hereby reserved for the use of the
United States together with the right of the United States
through its authorized agents or representatives at any
time to enter upon the land and prospect for, mine, ar~
remove the same, making just compensation for any damage
or injury occas~ oned thereby. However, such land
be used, and any rights otherwise acquired by this dis-
position may be exercised, as if no reservation of such
materials had been ~ade; except that, when such use res~:lts
in the extraction of smy such material from the land in
quantities which may not be transferred or delivered
without a license under the Atomic Energy Act of 1~34~,
as it now exists or ~ay hereafter be amended, such material
shall be the property of the United States Atomic Energy
Con~uission, and the Comr.~ission may require delivery of such
material to it by any possessor thereof after such material
has been separated as such from the ores in which it was
contained. If the ~o~=~ssxon' ' requires the delivery of such
material to it, it s~all oay to the person mining or
extracting the same, or to such other person as the
Cor~nlssion deter~,'~ines to be entitled thereto, such snms,
including profits, ~s the (;o~:u~ission deems fair and
reasonable for the discovery, mining, development, production,
extraction, and other services performed with respect to such
materi.l prior to such delivery, but such payment shell not
include ~ny ~mo~mt on ~ccount of the v*lue of such meteriel
before removal from its place of deposit in n~ture. If the
Commission does not reouire deliver~.- of such m~teri~l to it, the
reservetion hereby mede sh~ll be of no further force or effect.
