City Council Reg, Mtg, Minutes <br />(Vednesday, September 16, 2020 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />Michael Goodnow mentioned the Farmers Market scheduled for tomorrow is being cancelled <br />due to the hazardous air quality conditions and hope everyone is getting through this. <br />Lori Wheat acknowledged that she was attempting to continue to hang in there with everything <br />that 2020 has thrown at us so far; expressed that she found Mayor Wheeler's video very <br />interesting, it was beautiful to see the salmon, and hopes all of the improvements will work to <br />maintain a healthy salmon population; and lastly she reported that she enjoyed and learned a lot <br />from participating in the 2nd part of a 2-part webinar series hosted by Association of Washington <br />Cites on Race and Equity. <br />Kevin Gorman wished everyone well, and to stay healthy. <br />Leslie Daugs referred to Mayor's Wheeler's Report to ask a few additional details about the <br />Bremerton COVID-19 Rental Assistance Program and the Residents Gorst Creek Fish Barrier <br />Update; announced that applications are being accepted through Friday, September 18 for a <br />CPA position on the City's Audit Committee; and welcomed newly appointed community <br />members to the Race Equity Advisory Committee: Erin Burrows, Faye Flemister, Airen Lydick, <br />Glenna Matteson, Cely Quisano, Darryl Riley, and Sarah Van Gelder; and mentioned that <br />Bremerton Schools are up and running with school buses delivering free sack meals to students <br />at all Bremerton schools. <br />Pat Sullivan hoped everyone was doing well, and to have a good evening. <br />Eric Younger announced the next Study Session would be held remotely next week on <br />Wednesday, September 23, 2020 beginning at 5:00 PM; and no meeting would be held the Z) <br />week of the month, on Wednesday, September 30, 2020. <br />With no further business, President Younger adjourned the Council Meeting at 6:00 PM. <br />Prepared and Submitted by: <br />,Lau �h2� <br />LORI SMITH <br />Legislative Office Manager <br />APPRO ED by the City Council on the 7'h day of October, 2020, <br />ERI YOU ER, Cit ' ouncil President <br />Attest: <br />EY:AH:Is:cg <br />
