Minutes <br /> Wednesday, April 15, 2020 <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br /> The study will involve public involvement, design concept development and strategies for future <br /> project funding and implementation. In general, the design concept consists of re-channelizing and <br /> reconstructing the corridor with consideration to multimodal facilities. The STP program funds <br /> projects at a maximum of 86.5% with a minimum match of$13.5%. The estimated cost of this <br /> project is $606,000, and staff intend to request $524,190 in grant funds, requiring the City commit <br /> to providing matching funds of$81,810. Planning projects funded through STP grants are not <br /> subject to Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Order 5020.1A and do not obligate the city to <br /> long term (10-year) timing or project phasing commitments. For this grant cycle, KRCC has <br /> required applicants to include acknowledgment of these requirements from the governing body of <br /> the City with the grant applications. <br /> There were no questions or comments from the public... <br /> 06:28:00 Motion was made by Daugs and seconded by Goodnow... This project will <br /> replace the 30-year old fishing deteriorating fishing pier with a fish-friendly over water structure, <br /> provide ADA access and physical upgrades to the restrooms, install ADA accessible parking and <br /> pathways to link park amenities, a new picnic shelter and educational interpretive signage. This <br /> project has been shaped directly by community involvement through meetings with stakeholders <br /> and public meetings conducted by the Bremerton Parks & Recreation Commission. <br /> There were no questions or comments from the public... <br /> 06:46:00 Motion was made by Wheat and seconded by Daugs... This grant will <br /> be used to replace the boat launch with a new, wider concrete ramp with side shoring and a <br /> boarding float with new concrete abutment and ADA compliant pathways. This project also <br /> includes upgrades to the existing restroom with a new roof, outdoor shower and accessible <br /> fixtures, construction of an accessible boat trailer parking stall, and accessible pathways linking the <br /> parking lot, boat launch and restroom.
