DIGITAL RECORDING GUAIL <br />APPROVFD <br />CITY COUNCIL STUDY SESSION MINUTES (gills <br />Wednesday, November 28, 2018 <br />A Study Session of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order in the Council <br />Conference Room of the NORM DICKS GOVERNMENT CENTER, 345 6th Street, Bremerton, Washington, <br />Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at 5:00 PM, with Council President Eric Younger presiding. Council <br />Members present were Richard Huddy, Kevin Gorman, and Leslie Daugs. Council Members Michael <br />Goodnow, Tony Hillman, and Pat Sullivan were absent. Legislative Assistant Christine Grenier was <br />present to provide staff support. <br />President Younger emphasized that the Study Session is open to the public, and except for Item Al <br />and A8 there will be no opportunities for input or participation; and the content of these items is subject <br />to change. If approved by the Council, the remaining items will be placed on the December 5, 2018 <br />City Council Meeting Agenda. <br />A. LIMITED PRESENTATION PLANNED <br />AUTHORIZING HIRING OF AN EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT AT PAY BAND 11, RATE 2 <br />OF THE 2018 MANAGEMENT, PROFESSIONAL, CONFIDENTIAL, & FIDUCIARY <br />PLAN: Mayor Wheeler stated that the proposed salary compensation for the appointment <br />of the soon-to-be vacant position of Executive Assistant at Pay Band 11, Rate 2. ORDINANCE NO. 5361 AMENDING ORDINANCE NOS. 4875, 5226, 5287, AND 5387 <br />TO EXTEND THE PUGET SOUND ENERGY FRANCHISE AGREEMENT: Tom <br />Knuckey, City Engineer, explained that the current franchise agreement with Puget Sound <br />Energy is set to expire November 30, 2018.
