DIGITAL RECORDING tin <br />KIL <br />CITY COUNCIL BUDGET WORKSHOP MINUTES <br />Thursday, October 25, 2018 <br />The Budget Workshop of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order in the <br />Mayor's Conference Room 637 of the NORM DICKS GOVERNMENT CENTER located at 345 6th Street, <br />Bremerton, Washington, Thursday, October 25, 2018, at 4:15 PM, with Council President Eric <br />Younger presiding. Council members present were Richard Huddy, Michael Goodnow, Tony <br />Hillman, Kevin Gorman, Leslie Daugs, and Pat Sullivan. Also present were Financial Services <br />Director DeWayne Pitts; Assistant Financial Services Director Mike Riley; and Budget Analyst <br />Caroline Tompson. Legislative Office Manager Lori Smith was present to provide staff support to <br />the Council. <br />President Younger announced that tonight's Budget Workshop was for the Council to hear <br />presentations on the proposed 2019 Budget. It was further announced that this Budget Workshop <br />was open to the public, but there would be no opportunities for input or participation; that no action <br />will be taken, and the content of these items is subject to change. <br />DeWayne Pitts, Financial Services Director, provided background on the 2019 Budget process <br />and an overview on General Government Funds; and then led the presentations on all General <br />Fund Departments (except Public Works). <br />President Younger announced that the next Budget Workshop will be on Tuesday, October 30 <br />beginning at 4:15 PM in the Mayor's Conference Room. <br />With no further business, President Younger adjourned the Budget Workshop at 7:41 PM. <br />Prepared and Submitted by - <br />L R SMITH <br />Legislative Office Manager <br />APPROVED by the City Council on the 7th day of November, 2018. <br />ERIC YOUNGER, t6uncil President <br />ATTEST: <br />ANGELAWOODS, City Clerk <br />EY:AW:ls:cg <br />
