DIGITAL RECORDING CO <br /> UNCIL <br /> r 0..:.1 <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES I O 13 I ' <br /> Wednesday, September 19, 2018 <br /> The weekly meeting of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order Wednesday, <br /> September 19, 2018, at 5:00 PM in Council Conference Room 603 of the NORM DICKS <br /> GOVERNMENT CENTER, 345 6th Street, Bremerton, Washington, with Council President Eric <br /> Younger presiding. Council Members present were Richard Huddy, Michael Goodnow, Tony <br /> Hillman, Kevin Gorman, and Leslie Daugs. Council Member Pat Sullivan was absent. Also <br /> present were City Attorney Roger Lubovich; City Clerk Angela Woods; Legislative Assistant Lori <br /> Smith; and Hans Nilsson, Information Services. <br /> A COUNCIL BRIEFING was held to discuss General Council Business at 5:00 PM in the Council <br /> Conference Room. At 5:30 PM the meeting moved to the Meeting Chambers. <br /> The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Council Member Leslie Daucis followed by the invocation <br /> provided by Pastor Sherwin Rulloda from Bremerton Church of the Nazarene. <br /> MAYOR'S REPORT <br /> Public Works & Utilities Director Chal Martin provided a briefing on the emergency repair <br /> currently taking place by Public Works and the Washington State Department of Transportation <br /> following a sink hole (10-feet wide, 20-feet long, and 6-feet deep) that was discovered on <br /> Burwell Street between High Street and Anoka Avenue. It is estimated to be repaired by <br /> tomorrow afternoon. <br /> PUBLIC RECOGNITION <br /> Eric Harrold encouraged the Council Members to attend the 20th Anniversary Benefit Dinner to <br /> be hosted by the Lord's Neighborhood Diner on Friday, October 5 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at St. <br /> Paul's Episcopal Church where he hopes to engage with elected officials in a conversation on <br /> how the private sector can be more involved in working toward solving the homelessness <br /> problem without having to ask the City for money. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA <br /> 5A— Claims & Check Register: Check Numbers 380895 through 381060 and EFT- V18904 <br /> through EFT-V18963 in the amount of$1,944,328.77; and Regular Payroll for the pay <br /> period ending August 31, 2018 in the amount of$849,726.52 <br /> 5B — Minutes of Meeting — September 5, 2018 <br /> 5C — Minutes of Study Session — September 12, 2018 <br /> 5D — Sole Source Purchase Agreement with Trebron Company, Inc. for a Barracuda Message <br /> Archiver and Mirror Cloud Storage Service <br /> 5E — Purchase of Marine Insurance with Travelers and Water Quality Insurance Syndicate for <br /> the City's Argus Rescue Boat; and Budget Adjustment <br /> 5F — Contract Modification Agreement No. 1 with BHC Consultants, LLC for the Sewage <br /> Pump Station CW-4 Upgrade and OF-12 Modifications <br /> 5G — Change Order No. 2 with MJ Hughes Construction, Inc. for the West Belfair Valley Road <br /> and Tracyton Beach Road Innovative Safety Projects <br /> There were no questions or comments from the public... <br /> 05:42:03 M/S/C/U (Huddy/Gorman) Move to approve the CONSENT AGENDA as presented. <br />
