The current extrication <br />tools have been in operation since 2004. The extrication tools are on the Fire Rescue GPO under <br />contract number 00000170. The cost total for the extrication tools and accessories is $51,642.28 <br />which includes Washington State Sales Tax. <br />There were no comments from the public... <br />06:47:30 Motion was made by Hillman and seconded by Gorman... Comments were made by <br />Hillman; and questions were asked by Sullivan and Gorman, with responses provided by Chief <br />Schmitt... <br />06:49:17 M/S/C/U (Hillman/Gorman) Move to approve the purchase of new Hurst Extrication Tools <br />from Curtis Tools in the amount of $51, 642.28 including Washington State Sales Tax; and authorize <br />the Mayor to finalize the purchase with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented. <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />7A — PUBLIC HEARING AND RESOLUTION NO. 3307 TO ADOPT THE 2019 CDBG/HOME <br />POLICY PLAN, AND ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE RELEASE OF THE 2019 NOTICE OF FUNDING <br />AVAILABILITY: Sarah Achaoui, CDBG Program Administrator, explained that the action before <br />Council is adoption of the 2019 Policy Plan. The Policy Plan is a document which is updated yearly <br />which sets parameters for the management of our HUD entitlement grant awards and provides <br />specific information about the policies and regulations for the use of HUD CDBG and HOME funds. <br />This plan was released on April 11th for public comment, and to date there have been no comments <br />made. Staff is also announcing the release of the 2019 Notice of Funding Availability. <br />President Younger opened the public hearing... With no comments received, President Younger <br />closed the Hearing to the public; and opened for discussion with the Council... <br />
