EXECUTIVE SESSION President Younger announced that Council would recess for a 30 -Minute Executive Session from 7:54 to 8:24 PM to "Evaluate the Applications for an Appointment' allowed under RCW 42.30.110(1)(g); and that action would be taken when back in session. The Executive Session was extended for 10 more minutes... At 8:34 PM, the Council reconvened... E. APPOINTMENT OF DISTRICT 4 COUNCIL MEMBER – To serve until the results of the next Municipal General Election on November 5, 2019 are certified. President Younger opened nominations. Pat Sullivan nominated Jaime L. Forsyth. Richard Huddy nominated Tony Hillman. With no further nominations, President Younger asked for a vote by signed ballot. Voted in Favor of Forsyth: Sullivan, Goodnow, Younger Voted in Favor of Hillman: Daugs, Gorman, Huddy Due to a 3 to 3 tie, President Younger requested a second vote. Voted in Favor of Forsyth: Goodnow, Younger Voted in Favor of Hillman: Sullivan, Daugs, Gorman, Huddy By a vote of 4 to 2, Tony Hillman was appointed as the District 4 Council Member. President Younger announced that newly appointed District 4 Council Member Tony Hillman would be Sworn In at the January 17, 2018 Council Meeting.
