DIGITAL RECORDING 4�U <br /> CITY COUNCIL STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br /> Wednesday, April 24, 2013 MAY 0 1 1013 <br /> A Study Session of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order in the Council <br /> Conference Room of the NORM DICKS GOVERNMENT CENTER 345 6 Street, Bremerton, <br /> Washington, Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at 5 00 PM, with Council President Greg Wheeler <br /> presiding Council Members present were Eric Younger, Carol Arends, Faye Flemister, Wendy <br /> Priest, Adam Brockus, Leslie Daugs, and Jim McDonald Council Member Nick Wofford was <br /> absent Lori Smith, Legislative Assistant, was present to provide staff support <br /> Mayor Lent introduced new IT employee Hans Nilsson and presented a Mayor's Award to Dave <br /> Buffington in recognition of his technical work, including the design and implementation of a <br /> program to report graffiti on -line and with smart phone applications <br /> President Wheeler emphasized that the Study Session was open to the public but there would be <br /> no opportunities for input or participation, and announced that approved items by Council will be <br /> placed on the May 1, 2013 Council Meeting Agenda or as indicated <br /> A NO PRESENTATION ITEMS <br /> 1 Appointments of Annamane Lavien (Kitsap Historical Society and Museum), Nicole <br /> Vorthman (Hampton Inn & Suites), and Jose Maldonado (Baymont Inn & Suites) to the <br /> Lodging Tax Advisory Committee Consent Agenda <br /> 2 Amendment to the 2004 Kitsap County HOME Consortium (Project No KC- 360 -04) <br /> Interlocal Cooperation Agreement Consent Agenda <br /> 3 2013 KPS Premium Rates and Underwriting Criteria Consent Agenda <br /> 4 Renewal of Service Agreement with CenturyLink for Long Distance Services, and to <br /> provide Telecommunications Services at the Police Department and Gold Mountain Golf <br /> Complex Consent Agenda <br /> B FULL PRESENTATION ITEM <br /> 5 Update of proposed changes to Chapter 18 02 of the Bremerton Municipal Code (BMC) <br /> entitled City Fire Code Information Only — Action proposed for June 19 <br /> C GENERAL COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> 1 Finance and Investment Committee Briefing — Eric Younger, Chair <br /> 2 Brief Council Member reports were provided and other General Business discussed <br /> With no further business, President Wheeler adjourned the Council Study Session at 6 20 PM <br /> P pared and Submitte by <br /> ORI SMITH <br /> A Legislative Assistant <br /> S ANNO ORIN, City erk <br /> GRE EELER, City Council President <br />
