DIGITAL RECORDING <br />CITY COUNCIL BUDGET WORKSHOP MINUTES <br />Thursday, November 2, 2017 <br />The Budget Workshop of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order in the <br />Mayor's Conference Room 637 of the DICKS GOVERNMENT CENTER located at 345 6th Street, <br />Bremerton, Washington, Thursday, November 2, 2017, at 4:15 PM, with Council President Eric <br />Younger presiding. Council members present were Richard Huddy, Dino Davis, Greg Wheeler, <br />Jerry McDonald, Leslie Daugs, and Pat Sullivan. Also present were Financial Services Director <br />DeWayne Pitts; Assistant Financial Services Director Mike Riley; and Budget Analyst Caroline <br />Tompson. Legislative Assistant Lori Smith was present to provide staff support to the Council. <br />President Younger announced that tonight's Budget Workshop was for the Council to hear <br />presentations on the proposed 2018 Budget. It was further announced that this Budget <br />Workshop was open to the public, but there would be no opportunities for input or participation; <br />that no action will be taken, and the content of these items is subject to change. <br />DeWayne Pitts, Financial Services Director, provided background on the 2018 Budget process; <br />outlined assumptions and considerations for Revenues and Expenditures; and provided an <br />overview of all General Fund Departments. <br />Following comments, questions, and discussion from Council Members, President Younger <br />announced that the next Budget Workshop will be on Monday, November 6 beginning at 4:15 <br />PM in the Mayor's Conference Room... <br />With no further business, President Younger adjourned the Budget Workshop at 8:00 PM. <br />Prep d and Submitte <br />L I SMITH <br />Legislative Assistant <br />APPRO ED by the City Council on the 15th day of November,. 2017. <br />Eric Younger, Prouncil Pi ident <br />AI <br />ST: <br />Shannon L.
