DIGITAL RECORDING <br />CITY COUNCIL STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />Wednesday, April 26, 2017 <br />A Study Session of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order in the Council <br />Conference Room of the NORM DICKS GOVERNMENT CENTER, 345 6th Street, Bremerton, <br />Washington, Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at 5:00 PM, with Council President Eric Younger <br />presiding. Council Members present were Richard Huddy, Dino Davis, Greg Wheeler, Jerry <br />McDonald, and Leslie Daugs. Council Member Pat Sullivan was absent. Christine Grenier, <br />Council Assistant, was present to provide staff support. <br />President Younger emphasized that the Study Session was open to the public but there would <br />be no opportunities for input or participation; and announced that approved items by Council will <br />be placed on the May 3, 2017 Council Meeting Agenda or as indicated. <br />A. NO PRESENTATION PLANNED —The following items are budgeted items or subjects that <br />have been raised with the appropriate Council Committee Members... <br />1. Confirm Re -Appointments of Deborah Housen and George Willock to the Lodging Tax <br />Advisory Committee Consent Agenda <br />2. Purchase of a 2017 Ford Interceptor from Columbia Ford of Longview, WA for use by <br />the Fire Department Consent Agenda <br />3. Purchase of Playground Equipment from Landscape Structures, Inc. for Lions Park; and <br />approve Budget Adjustment General Business <br />4. Public Works Agreement with Sabelhaus West, Inc. for Rehabilitation and Painting of <br />two (2) Chlorine Contact Chambers Interior Block Walls at the Westside Wastewater <br />Treatment Plant Consent Agenda <br />5. Purchase of a 85HP Flygt Dry -Pit Submersible Pump from Whitney Equipment <br />Company, Inc. to replace Pump No. 1 at Pump Station OB -1 Consent Agenda <br />6. Contract Award to Simpson Sandblasting & Special Coatings, Inc. for the Reservoir No. <br />21 Exterior Coating Replacement Project Consent Agenda <br />7. Authorize closure of one-half block of Park Avenue for the Burwell Pedestrian Tunnel <br />Improvement Project General Business <br />After receiving consensus from Council Members, President Younger invited Chuck <br />Henderson to provide his concerns and questions...
