�` <br /> DIGITAL R�CORDING <br /> �� <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br /> Wednesday, October 5, 2016 <br /> The weekly meeting of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order Wednesday, <br /> October 5, 2016, at 5:00 PM in Council Conference Room 603 of the NoRM DiCKs GOVERtvMENT <br /> CENTER, 345 6'h Street, Bremerton, Washington, with Council President Eric Younger presiding. <br /> Council Members present were Richard Huddy, Dino Davis, Greg Wheeler, Jerry McDonald, Leslie <br /> Daugs, and Pat Sullivan. Also present were Assistant City Attorney Kylie Purves; City Clerk <br /> Shannon Corin; Legislative Assistant Lori Smith; and Hans Nilsson, Information Services. <br /> A CoutvCi�BR�EF�N� was held to discuss General Council Business at 5:00 PM in the Council <br /> Conference Room. At 5:30 PM the meeting moved to the Meeting Chambers. <br /> The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Council Member Pat Sullivan followed by the invocation <br /> provided by Deacon Bill Hamlin of Our Lady Star of the Sea Church. <br /> MAYOR'S REPORT <br /> On behalf of Mayor Patty Lent, President Younqer read a proclamation to declare the Month of <br /> October 2016 as "Dysautonomia Awareness Month" in the City of Bremerton; which he then <br /> presented to Katelvn Anderson. Ms. Anderson accepted the proclamation and read a statement <br /> to help raise awareness about this condition which is a malfunction of a person's autonomic <br /> nervous system. <br /> PUBLIC RECOGNITION (Below is only a summary of the full comments provided...) <br /> Mike Walton, Community Relations Coordinator with the Bremerton/Kitsap Family YMCA, <br /> provided a briefing on events taking place this fall at the "Y". <br /> Gail Gillespie held up a flyer and inquired if anyone knew more about the "Water is Life— <br /> Solidarity with Standing Rock" Benefit Concert scheduled at the Bremerton Eagles Aerie 192 on <br /> Monday, October 10 from 6:00 to 10:00 PM. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA - �� - <br /> 5A— Claims & Check Register: Check Numbers 370310 through 370498, and EFT-16517 <br /> through EFT-16561 in the amount of$1,778,356.09; Regular Payroll (Pay Out & <br /> Correction) for the pay period ending September 15, 2016 in the amount of$9,805.83; and <br /> Retiree Payroll for the pay period ending September 30, 2016 in the amount of$52,230.88 <br /> 56 — Minutes of Meeting — September 21, 2016 <br /> 5C — Minutes of Study Session — September 28, 2016 <br /> 5D — Purchase of four (4) John Deere Gator TX Vehicles from Pacific Golf & Turf for Greens <br /> Maintenance at Gold Mountain Golf Course <br /> 5E — Public Works Agreement with Sabelhaus West, Inc. for Exterior Cleaning and Staining of <br /> the Gold Mountain Golf Course Clubhouse and Olympic Room Banquet Facility <br /> 5F — Contract Work Authorization through Interlocal Agreement with Kitsap County for Street <br /> Striping and Painting Services <br /> There were no questions or comments by the public... <br /> 05:45:15 M/S/C/U (Sullivan/McDonald) Move to approve the CoNSENT A�EN�a as presented. <br /> GENERAL BUSINESS — There were no General Business items... <br />
