DIGITAL RECORDING COUNCL <br /> CITY COUNCIL STUDY SESSION MINUTES DEC S 2011 <br /> November 28, 2012 <br /> A Study Session of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order in the Council <br /> Conference Room 603 of the NORM DICKS GOVERNMENT CENTER, 345 6' Street, Bremerton, <br /> Washington, Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at 400 PM, with Council President Jim <br /> McDonald presiding Council Members present were Nick Wofford, Eric Younger, Carol Arends, <br /> Greg Wheeler, Roy Runyon, Adam Brockus, and Leslie Daugs Council Member Faye <br /> Flemister was absent Lori Smith, Legislative Assistant, was present to provide staff support <br /> President McDonald emphasized that the Study Session was open to the public but there <br /> would be no opportunities for input or participation, and announced that approved items by <br /> Council will be placed on the December 5, 2012 Council Meeting Agenda, or as indicated <br /> A NO PRESENTATIONS - The following items are budgeted items and /or have been <br /> reviewed by the appropriate Council Committee <br /> 1 Bid Award to EC Power Systems for Emergency Generator Purchase for Fire Station #1 <br /> — Fire Chief Al Duke Consent Agenda <br /> 2 Proposed Resolution amending and reestablishing City Rates and Fees for 2013 — <br /> Becky Hasart, Financial Services Director Consent Agenda <br /> 3 Proposed Ordinance amending Section 3 86 200 of the Bremerton Municipal Code <br /> (BMC) relating to Business and Occupation (B &O) Taxes, and further amending <br /> Chapter 3 48 of the BMC (The two mayor changes relate to "digital goods" and <br /> confidentiality of tax returns) — Becky Hasart, Financial Services Director Consent <br /> Agenda <br /> B FULL DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> 4 Proposed Public Hearing and Ordinance to adopt the 2012 Comprehensive Plan <br /> Amendment Docket — Doug McIntyre and Allison Daniels, Department of Community <br /> Development Public Hearing on December 19 <br /> 5 BUDGET WORKSHOP: Continued discussion on the City of Bremerton 2013 Proposed <br /> Budget — Becky Hasart, Financial Services Director, and Caroline Tompson, Budget <br /> Analyst General Business <br /> President McDonald called a recess from 5 40 to 6 10 PM, and then reopened the Budget <br /> Workshop for continued discussion <br /> C GENERAL COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> General Council Business was briefly discussed <br /> With no further business, the Council Study Session was adjourned at 7 40 PM. <br /> Pr;;;End Submitte by <br /> LO I SMITH <br /> Legislative Assistant <br />
