Minutes <br /> Wednesday, October 5, 2016 <br /> Page 2 of 2 <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER REPORTS <br /> Pat Sullivan welcomed volunteers to the "Monthly Lions Park Work Party" on Saturday, October 8 <br /> from 10:00 AM to Noon along the shoreline; and announced a Public Works Community Meeting <br /> will be held to discuss "Lebo Boulevard Roadway Improvements" on Tuesday, October 11 from <br /> 6:00 to 7:30 PM in the Lounge Room at the Sheridan Park Community Center. <br /> Leslie Daugs welcomed several Bremerton High School students who were in the audience to <br /> observe and learn about their local government; and invited them back to attend any City Council <br /> Meeting the 1 S' or 3�d Wednesday and/or Study Session the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. <br /> Jerrv McDonald reported on a recent tour of Safe Boats at the Port of Bremerton; and Kitsap <br /> Composites in Port Orchard which designs, manufactures, and tests composite hardware for the <br /> aerospace and defense industries; was pleased with progress being made towards completion of <br /> the SpyGlass Apartments project; and discussed a partnership with CGI for marketing videos. <br /> Greq Wheeler provided the background of the McKenna Falls Intake Improvements Project, and <br /> was pleased to attend the grand opening earlier today. <br /> Richard Huddv discussed the recent action by the City of Bremerton to allow Waste Management <br /> to stop providing service to delinquent accounts; attended the Grand Re-Opening of the East <br /> Bremerton Fred Meyer with Council Vice President Dino Davis; and the Grand Opening of Elixer <br /> Fixer located in Manette; and reminded the public that the Annual Bremerton Central Lions Dinner <br /> & Auction "Knights in Harmony" will be on October 15 at the Admiral Theatre; with proceeds to be <br /> used for purchasing professional musical instruments for use by the Bremerton High School band. <br /> Eric Younqer mentioned that BKAT has been working with Comcast to improve the audio of <br /> televised Council Meetings, and asked anyone still experiencing sound issues to please contact <br /> the Council Office. <br /> With no further business, President Younqer adjourned the Council Meeting at 6:05 PM. <br /> Prepared and Submitted b : <br /> � � <br /> LO I SMITH <br /> Legislative Assistant <br /> APPRO D by the City Council on the 19th day of October, 2016. <br /> � <br /> Eric Younger ounci sident <br /> A ST: . <br /> Shannon L.
